witness the natural beauty of a Ulu petanu waterfall.
In one place you can explore nature and historical places as well as places sacred to local residents
This program offers a unique journey to a beautiful, and less-traveled, part of Bali. It combines a serene natural setting with rich historical and spiritual elements.
This tour takes you away from the crowds to the recently discovered Ulu Petanu Waterfall, a place where nature, history, and spirituality converge.
Program Highlights
Ulu Petanu Waterfall: Described as "angel's shawls stretched out," the waterfall offers a breathtaking view with its gentle cascades. You'll explore a small forest with towering trees, listen to the sounds of hummingbirds, and discover untouched spots that feel truly secluded.
Historical and Spiritual Significance: The tour reveals the area's rich history, including a natural cave believed to have been a meditation spot for Balinese ancestors. The site holds historical evidence dating back to the 14th-15th centuries, referencing the journey of the revered priest Ida Pedanda Sakti Wawu Rauh. The cave is considered a sacred place, still used for religious ceremonies today.
Trekking and Scenery: To reach the waterfall, you'll enjoy a short trek through the lush landscape. The journey includes stunning views of the Ceking rice terraces, which are so perfectly arranged they look like a work of art.
Optional Activities: For those seeking a bit more adventure, you can arrange for exciting activities like a swing or flying fox.
Authentic Balinese Lunch: The tour concludes with a delicious and authentic Balinese lunch prepared by a local housewife in a traditional Balinese home, offering a true taste of local life.
This program is perfect for those who want to experience the beauty and hidden history of Bali, combining natural exploration with cultural immersion.
